Children´s Sermon and Kid´s Chapel

Children´s Sermon

During the Sunday 10:45 AM worship service, the children present in the sanctuary are invited to the chancel to participate in a short lesson, usually based on the text for the day. Adults often find this message to be a beneficial introduction to the pastor´s sermon! Click here to see the schedule for the Children´s Sermon volunteer schedule.

Kid´s Chapel

Kid’s Chapel meets at 10:45 AM during Sunday morning worship in Room 205. Preschool through fourth grade children leave worship after the Children´s Sermon to experience a time of worship and learning with one another. During this time, children are divided into age-specified groups and have a brief Bible lesson and activity. Children learn about the church´s liturgical season and follow the curriculum, Rock Solid, which includes exploring images, practices, and the Word through stories. Together, children learn about God´s love and are affirmed that they are a part of God´s creation.

Kid´s Chapel is under the leadership of Heather Luellen.
