Music in National Avenue Christian Church

Chancel Choir

Vocal music has long been an integral part of worship at National Avenue Christian Church. Utilizing professional and amateur voices, the adult choir sings an anthem at during the 10:45 AM service 11 months of the year, taking a hiatus during August. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM from September through May, and also before the 10:45 AM service each Sunday. During special church festivals, string and wind instrumentalists are also utilized to accompany the choir and enhance worship. The choir is directed by Kevin Williams.

Chancel Bells

NACC plays a full five octave range of handbells, plus chimes. The choir plays during both morning worship services about four times throughout the period from September through May. Rehearsals are from 6:00 to 6:50 PM on Wednesday evenings during the school year.

Kid´s Choir

Children attending Kid´s Chapel sing as a choir during the 10:45 AM worship service several times throughout the year. The Kid´s Choir is under the leadership of Heather Luellen.

Vocal Soloists

Solo vocalists are also a part of each Sunday morning worship experience.
